On-the-water IWC Schaffhausen boutique

Watch connoisseurs can now buy their favourite IWC watch on board a cruise ship. “Mariner of the Seas” is the first cruise ship with an IWC boutique inside its 1,020-feet-long body, equipped with a wide array of abundant amenities and luxury shops to make for an unforgettable experience. It is the first on-the-water boutique launch globally for IWC.

“Mariner of the Seas” forms part of the second generation of Voyager-class vessels focusing on relaxing getaways with luxurious accommodations and fine cuisine.

.

The boutique is a fine example of IWC’s well-known philosophy of precise  engineering and innovation. Dark and white wood, glass, leather and polished stainless steel are a few of the usual components seen throughout the boutique. These elements intricately underline the brand’s technical aspirations and create an atmosphere that is both elegant and inviting.

“We are pleased to announce the first IWC boutique to launch on a cruise ship and we look forward to welcoming guests from around the globe to experience this exciting milestone along with IWC,” says IWC CEO Georges Kern. The approximately 60-square-metre boutique offers all six IWC watch families along with the promise of an exceptionally high quality of service that will guarantee an extraordinary shopping experience for all guests.

With a clear focus on technology and development, the Swiss watch manufacturer IWC has been producing timepieces of lasting value since 1868. The company has gained an international reputation as one of the world’s leading brands in the luxury watch segment.
