A saga of India Singapore Sculptural Art at Spice Gallery at The Metropolitan Hotel & Spa
www.luxepointindia.com will see the second successful collaboration with the Art Spice Gallery, The Metropolitan Hotel & Spa. as 30 reputable, senior artists from Singapore along with nine well-recognized Indian artists will showcase their sculptural work in a large scaled exhibition titled OF HUMAN HERITAGE-An India Singapore Exchange Of Sculptural Art that will be inaugurated by H.E. Lim Thuan Kuan, High Commissioner of Singapore on February 3. The exhibition is supported by Singapore High Commission, Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore Airlines and DBS Bank (of Singapore) in collaboration with Sculpture Society (Singapore)
This year marks the 25 years of ASEAN-Indian Partnership, thus, the monumental exhibition with the aim of nurturing public appreciation of sculpture as an art form. Every sculptor has created an intriguing story with a compelling visual grammar through the sculpture that makes this a not-to-be-missed exhibition. Famous Singapore curator, Vidhya Gnana Gouresan has curated this dynamic cultural exchange between the two nations. The prestigious exhibition is also supported by other respected names; Outlook Splurge - luxury magazine, The Sunday Standard -premium newspaper and fashion and lifestyle brand, Kazo.
“This collaboration is not only between Art Spice and Sculpture Society (Singapore), it’s a collaboration of two countries, two beautiful cultures and traditions. Unique exhibition like this not only promote art from various corners of the world, but also provides an opportunity to witness culture, traditions, celebrates specific ethnic characteristics and help in forming strong ties between different countries,” says Babita Gupta, Director, Art Spice Gallery, who initiated the concept and the idea.
