The best of luxury under one roof

Brace yourselves for India’s first ever luxury exhibition which is set to take place in 2015. Slated to start from 20th March, 2015 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi the high profile event is being jointly organized by Quintessentially Lifestyle Services India and GroupM (a WPP Company) with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as the Trade Partner.

With the aim of tapping the rapidly growing luxury industry in India, the 3- day festival will give the affluent Indian consumer a wide variety of International luxury brands to choose from. The increase of the rich upper-middle class and HNI community has got global luxury brands vying to find a space in the Indian market. The Luxury Festival, thus presents a unique platform providing participating brands with the opportunity to network with purveyors of luxury brands, key decision makers & influencers in India. Watches, jewellery and accessories, apparel, art and design, yachts, jets, automobiles and real estate by the very best and top-notch luxury brands are planned to be showcased. The Festival also aims to support and guide lesser known international brands for establishing a consumer base in India.

Mr. Amit Dutta, Managing Director, Quintessentially Lifestyle Services India, Mr. Peter Raj Kapoor, Executive Director, Quintessentially Lifestyle Services India, Ms. Amita Sarkar, Dy Director General & Head - Services Council, CII and Mr. CVL Srinivas, CEO - South Asia, GroupM at a media briefing to announce The Luxury Festival 2015 and provide insights into the luxury industry.

Talking about the festival, Amit Dutta, Managing Director – Quintessentially Lifestyle Services India Pvt. Ltd., said “The Luxury Festival will welcome invitees from across India, including industrialists, socialites, entrepreneurs, corporate magnates, private wealth clients, luxury automobile owners and private air charter members.”

“GroupM and Quintessentially Lifestyle Services India have entered into a partnership to bring The Luxury Festival, the first of its kind exhibition of global luxury brands, to the country. The Luxury Festival will provide an excellent opportunity for global brands to penetrate into the Indian market and we are very proud to bring this concept to India”, CVL Srinivas, CEO – GroupM South Asia, further commented.

The event will see attendance from senior executives of global luxury brands, Foreign Embassies’ dignitaries, media representatives & industry experts. The event is being supported by CII as the trade partner, who will also facilitate participating brands on their India Strategy.

Speaking on the occasion, Amita Sarkar, Deputy Director General & Head - Services Council, CII, stated, “The luxury sector must also be seen as the growth driver, as it has the potential of bringing about an inclusive growth through manufacturing, skilling and employment and its trickle down effects. CII has been undertaking several initiatives for the development of the sector through policy dialogues, stakeholder engagement and meets.”

Fancy gourmet dinners by Michelin star chefs, glittering fashion shows and personal interaction sessions among the consumers and luxury brands are some of the many highlights of the upcoming festival. Stay tuned to know more about the scheduled events and participating brands.
