Close on the heels of big international fashion brands like Gucci, which recently opened its doors to the fashionistas of Kolkata, another well known brand Michael Kors is set to open its store at the Quest Mall in the same city . Luxury shoppers can choose from a mix of accessories from the Michael Kors Collection and MICHAEL Michael Kors labels, as well as watches, jewelry, footwear, and eyewear. The stores will also carry a selection of the brand’s fragrances.

You can expect to see the brand’s chic signature aesthetics created by their in-house team of designers with Zebra print furniture, sleek metal fixtures, mirrored surfaces and glossy, vintage photographs on the walls that fill the space with glamour and sophistication.

Michael Kors recently opened in Mumbai as well at the Palladium Mall. The Mumbai and Kolkata stores are the second and third one respectively after their first one in the capital city of Delhi.

Originally built in 1729 by the Maharaja of Jaipur, it became the official residence of the British Resident Political officer of the Rajputana in 1821 and in 1958 the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II – popularly known as ‘Jai’ - chose it as his private residence. SUJÁN will reopen the Palace completely redesigned and refurbished  by the highly acclaimed designer Adil Ahmad, specially commissioned for the task by The Royal Family of Jaipur. Adil has been inspired by The City Palace, the inner sanctum and current residence of the Jaipur Royals. The design elements include the use of traditional royal motifs, family crests, sensuous fabric and old world art pieces. The classic architecture and modern sensibility of the designer has shown results in a myriad of colours, soft poetic pastels, blues, greens and pinks in his eclectic and dominating style sense.

The Rajmahal Palace will retain its original stunning marble staircase, intricate chandeliers and mirrored ceilings. It will open with 20 suites and rooms, two distinct restaurants, a bar, swimming pool, as well as a SUJÁN Spa in its first phase.

The Princess Diya Kumari of the Jaipur Royal Family said during the announcement of the opening"I am confident that SUJÁN will ensure that this precious piece of Jaipur’s history will be valued and shared with guests from across the globe.”

SUJÁN Rajmahal Palace will be the latest addition to SUJÁN’s existing properties, including the recently opened JAWAI Leopard Camp; Sher Bagh, Ranthambhore and The Serai– a luxury desert camp in Jaisalmer, both members of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux, and Singinawa Jungle Lodge, Kanha. Their first property overseas, Elephant Pepper Camp in the Masai Mara is one of the few camps in Kenya to have received the Gold Eco-rating certification by Ecotourism Kenya.

Luxury Mall Emporio is all set to open its swanky doors to the iconic brand LA Martina who will make its India debut soon this month. The brand's  synonymous with the niche sport of the elite - Polo. It is based in Argentina, known to have produced many famous Polo players as well excellent breed of horses required for this fast -paced royal game. It is headquartered in Buenos Aires.
