Go for a taste of Indonesia at K3, J W Marriott, Delhi
J W Marriott, Delhi's Sunday brunches are the talk of the town. Almost the entire city walks into the Sunday brunch to enjoy the spread that is to die-for. This time the brunch got a new cuisine that not just added to the amazing spread, which the restaurant K3 displays but was something to look forward to.
The restaurant is hosting an authentic culinary Indonesian cuisine festival from 11 -22 September, 2019, at the restaurant. The 12 day festival is curated by Chef Muhammad Nursalim and Chef Adi Natha Wianta along with Chef Sandeep Pande and we were invited to be a part of it.
The atmosphere is electric when we walk in to the restaurant, with a North Eastern live band playing 70s English hits right next to the Indonesian food counter. There were families enjoying a delicious Sunday and the live counters were busy with requests for salads, soups and grills. Even before we started the first course we feasted our eyes on the dessert counter that was colourful with a variety that included Indian to Continental yummie - it was difficult not to. We stayed focused and walked towards the salad counter while mentally surveying the very inviting Indonesian counter. It had the fried duck - Ikan Panggang Jimbran, Talus Becam, and different varieties of satays.
The variety of spices used in the dishes made it colourful, flavourful and tempting and before long we had our plates filled with the tasty cuisine.
