Where did the wealthy spend money, where on and what will they be spending their money in future? This was the topic of discussion as Knight Frank celebrated their 10th edition of The Wealth Report 2016

HRH Prince Michael of Kent and Princess Diya Kumari of Jaipur along with Princess Asha Raje Gaekwad and Pragyashree Raje Gaekwad of Baroda and Umang Huteesing of Ahmedabad were part of an elegant guest list as Knight Frank the global real estate consultants celebrated the 10th edition of The Wealth Report 2016 by hosting a gala evening at Taj Lands Hotel,  Mumbai. The wealth report is Knight Frank’s leading research report that tracks the growing affluent population in 98 cities across 91 countries. Apart from royalty the evening had a dash of Bollywood glamour as Indian film actress Shilpa Shetty, wearing a beautiful off shoulder gown attended the celebration. The suave Kabir Bedi, also part of the Indian film industry played host for the evening attended by Mumbai’s glitterati that included Indu Shahani, former Sheriff of Mumbai, Prasoon Joshi, CEO of McCann World Group and Chairman Asia-Pacific,  Ranjit, MD of Novartis, Sachin Joshi and well known choreographer Terrence Lewis among others.

Rolls-Royce, displayed the iconic Wraith & Ghost II Series just as Mathieu Lusterie displayed their luxe chandeliers. Delhi Art Gallery conducted an art auction featuring 50 works of Indian masters almost all of which were picked up on the spot. The auction saw the works of maestros and heavyweights of the Indian art like Anjolie Ela Menon, S.H. Raza and F.N Souza. Other partner for the evening were Anmol Jewellers celebrating 30 years of stunning jewelery designing. Part of the proceeds were donated to the evening’s charity partner ’Project Nanhi Kali’.

Shishir Baijal, Chairman and Managing Director, Knight Frank India said, ”India with its gradual increase in the number of Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs) has emerged as one of the bright spots in the world economy.
