Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, has introduced the Audi Q3 S Edition, a sporty version of its SUV of the Year, in India. Breaking ground in a new market segment, the Audi Q3 S Edition is priced at INR24,99,000 (ex-showroom New Delhi) and will be available at all Audi dealerships across the country from the end of August. “The Audi Q3 is not only the most awarded luxury SUV in its segment but also the most successful. We are the market leaders in the luxury SUV segment and the Audi Q3 further consolidated that position for us.Our customer feedback revealed a growing inclination of our younger customers towards a more engaging drive. The Audi Q3 S Edition is our answer to this ever-increasing demand for luxury mobility with the thrill of self-controlled driving,” said Mr Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India.

The Audi Q3 S Edition features the 2.0 TDI four-cylinder engine that combines direct injection with turbo charging and offers the right balance between power and efficiency, delivering fuel efficiency o f17.32 kmpl. Audi combines this engine with a front-wheel drive, which works with a hydraulic multi-plate clutch. The six-speed manual transmission in the Audi Q3 S Edition provides the driver full control of the vehicle dynamics, enabling him to enjoy an engaging and exhilarating drive. India launched the Audi Q3S Edition online with the launch of the Audi
online booking engine, India’s first booking engine for a luxury car
brand. The first 10 online buyers will be offered a sporty off-road
style package. At the time of online launch almost one car was being booked online per minute!
Audi Club India Audi also announced the launch of Audi Club India, a first of its kind initiative in the luxury car industry in India. An exclusive “Audi
owners only” community, Audi Club India is a platform for Audi customers to come together, interact with like-minded individuals and
enjoy a host of benefits. Mr Michael Perschke inducted three honorary members into the Audi Club – India’s leading lady golfer Sharmila Nicollet, former captain of the Indian football team Baichung Bhutia and Audi India race talent Aditya Patel. New showroom Audi announced the opening of its third luxury car showroom in the heart of New Delhi at DLF Capitol Point, Bab Kharak Singh Marg, Connaught Place. A first of its kind in the country, this world-class showroom is based on a unique Central Business District concept. The showroom was inaugurated by Mr Michael Perschke and Mr Rashy Tood,Managing Director, Audi Delhi Central (Zenica Cars India Pvt Ltd).

Audi Delhi Central features a progressive lounge set-up with informal seating, video walls and state-of-the-art interiors, lighting and technology. Several elements like the specially designed and imported quartz flooring are the first of their kind in India. Spread over 6315 sq ft, Audi Delhi Central sports the signature Audi honeycomb aluminium facade on the exterior. The showroom will also house the Audi Shop and Audi Exclusive elements where customers can customize their cars and buy exclusive Audi merchandise.
