Bubbling over

When it comes to wine, the sparkling wines top the chart for a memorable wedding party or reception.  So how does one become a bubbly pro? Chandon India has come up with the perfect guide, the golden bubbly rules.

First, remember sparkling wine is not the same as champagne.

Store the sparkling wine in a cool place away from heat and light. Always serve it chilled (7-10degree C) .

However, tempted to play the diva, never ever open the bottle with a flourish, instead tilt the bottle at 45 degrees, hold your thumb over the cork, twist and ease it out. To avoid accident point the bottle away from yourself and others.

The expert tip is to consume the bottle the same day- what are parties for! Otherwise use a good quality stopper and store for one-two days.

Remember that glass wise while the flute is popular it is the tulip that concentrates the flavor more. Cheers! Now remember there is no party without these bubbly showstoppers, especially during the ongoing wedding season
