Get your vacation mood ready and pack those surf boards, Jamaica is all set to reopen its doors to tourism. Its Tourism Minister Hon Edmund Bartlett has lauded local tourism partners for the high level of preparation to protect tourism and visitors from the threat posed by the Corona virus. Jamaica is going through a series of inspection of various tourism related locations to know the level of preparedness once the country opens for tourists from June 15, 2020. Among the inspection were Sangster International Airport, a number of hotels in Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, the Coral Cliff and Margaritaville entertainment entities and Hospiten hospital.  "All of Jamaica is not at the same level of readiness," said Minister Bartlett adding what he termed, a resilience corridor was being established, "to enable the country to protect workers, manage the experience of the visitors and to track and trace their movements in order to ensure there is highest level of risk management as possible."
