Beautiful night sky inside yachts
Experience the interiors of the yacht light up like the real night with master strokes of artist Ottavio Fabbri
He makes the night look magical inside the Sea Force One yacht's master suite using phosphorescent paintings. However, it is not the only yacht that has got this amazing stroke of art from the well known contemporary Italian artist Ottavio Fabbri, his work is present in some the world's most beautiful yachts. The phosphorescent paint is extremely popular on boats because of the beautiful night effect it has, of course he takes into account the look and feel of the painting keeping the personality of the owner.
Once the sun goes down, the paintings are transformed into stunning spectacles when the paint gently illuminate; emulating the real night skies outside. The paint absorbs energy from the sun during the day and then softly glows for a number of hours at night. His paintings will remind you of the beautifully star lit skies even on the gloomiest of nights.
His depiction of the sky is so intricate, right down to the minutest of details. His paintings will most definitely give you a glimpse of heaven. The star adorned master bedroom of Sea Force One will leave your eyes mesmerized and thirsty at the same time. Your eyes will long for more and it will keep you coming back for more. Such is the effect of his artwork. Apart from producing cosmic masterpieces, Fabbri also creates bespoke fur blankets using female mink in a variety of colours. All the blankets are handmade and showcase the same love of the night sky.
Fabbri, when asked about his source of inspiration instantly explains, “The stars have always fascinated me, as they are part of every culture and can be seen and experienced by every human”.
“My work is exhibited on yachts worldwide; the synergy is clear between the sky and the sea. I have even painted directly on the ceiling , creating bespoke murals which form a truly unique and personal experience of the night sky”, he adds.
Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the first mission to the moon Apollo 11 (1969) sums up Fabbri’s paintings of the galaxy by saying, “I have already seen Fabbri’s paintings in space. He is a man and artist of the Italian Renaissance. The new Renaissance, the cosmic one”.
