Gucci opens its first men's flagship store at Milan's Brera District
The first flagship men’s store for Gucci opened up its door to fashion connoisseurs in the heart of Milan at the historic Brera district. It is strategically located in front of the renowned museum Pinacoteca di Brera. The design concept of the store is by Creative Director Frida Giannini and is spread across more 500 square meters across three floors.
Boasting a design concept by Creative Director Frida Giannini, the Gucci men’s store spans more than 500 square meters across three floors and features a dedicated area for the Made to Measure program: a personalized, luxury sartorial offering for the modern day gentleman.Frida Giannini’s innovative is away from the traditional retail space embracing a very contemporary look with backlit panels. It uses signature Gucci materials like rosewood and ebony enhanced with matt light grey marble. It also uses fluted glass, warm brushed bronze, smoked mirror and smoked bronze glass, recalling the elegance and richness of the Art Deco era.
Gucci’s Brera store will be the first to offer the capsule collection designed by Creative Director Frida Giannini and Lapo Elkann, conceived as “Lapo’s Wardrobe.” A contemporary statement of classic tailoring, the MADE TO MEASURE “Lapo’s Wardrobe” collection comprises 27 looks – 23 for men and four for women. Painstaking attention characterizes each and every piece, and striking details include exclusive linings, vests, ties, suspenders, and handkerchiefs. The collection includes also accessories such as MADE TO ORDER leather goods and shoes as well as jewelry.
