After appointing Mary Kom as their boxing brand ambassador Thailand has appointed the petite and talented 22 year old Indian Vani Kapoor as their golf ambassador. This was announced recently at the Imperial hotel by Yuthasak Supasorn , TAT Governor.

Vani has represented India in many domestic and international golf tournaments. She turned professional golfer in 2012 and her current world ranking is 767. She has won 17 titles till now which is the most by any female player on the Indian tour.

"Having recently plated golf in Thailand it is my great honor to be the Thailand Golf Ambassador. Thailand is a great destination for golfers as it offers wide range of courses to choose from at a value added price." said Vani displaying her swing skills for the media and the guest present at the announcement.
