DLF Cyberhub gets its first Playful Brasserie - Pra Pra Prank

It's really interesting if you knew that Inderjeet Banga who just opened the spanking new Pra Pra Prank at the DLF Cyber Hub, after the successful Prankster in Gurugram was double his size just a few years back. Obviously he is a foodie - but a foodie who can resist food-wow! To be surrounded by all that gourmet food, go through several tastings before being served to the guests and stay true to his motivations, that is inspiring, especially to those who are struggling to lose weight while not giving up on their favourite food.

But this write up is really not about Banga's journey to losing weight, it's in fact his journey to creating magic together with his brother Jasmeet, through the world of food. We were invited to the very strategically located Pra Pra Prank and as described to us the first playful brasserie for a taste. Travelling extensively and welcomed happily into many homes and lives the Brother Duo of Biggie Hospitality are in love with the new India of today, one that expects global standards of hospitality; in an ambience that is as sophisticated as it is luxuriously decadent that is completely reflected in their new venture.

The first impression when you enter are the visuals of the decor handpicked by the brothers. They are interesting and yes, very picture friendly. There is an outside area that gives a vibrant view of the visitors to the mall while you are dining on your favourites. The inside seating is busy with an open kitchen that says Sushi Bar (which is an absolute must-try) with aromas, fragrances, music literally seducing your senses and aggravating your hunger. A door decorated with little bottles of whiskies and merging into the wall takes you secretly inside the bar and lounge which is quieter. The entry from outside to this place is layered perfectly.

We had vegetarian food due to the ongoing Navratra festival. It was delicious and included the rainbow sushi with purple rice and crispy vegetable tempura, dimsums that reminded us of flowers because they looked like one except you could pop them in your mouth with relish, hoppers with mushroom and potato fillings, khow suey plated very daintily and highlighted with a peanut cracker that stood out on a dark coloured beautiful plate, black rice that was to-die-for and cannoli  that looked like a flower spread. The menu is non conformist, its modern Indian, Asian with exciting flavours and will have something for comfort seeker as well the gourmand. After the success of Pranksters that has been a favourite due its interesting college concept, Pra Pra Prank could successfully tickle the palate of food lovers in Delhi. You will definitely love it for the contemporary take it has given to many a traditional dish yet without destroying the taste and that is a feat in itself that can be achieved only with hard work, years of experience, passion and research.
