With the Aquasail Sailing Centre and soon to open Marina, Casino Strike finds itself the right location - The Grand Hyatt Hotel, Bambolin, Goa to ensure its success.

Goa with its ever surging tourists from all over the world has a new den to flaunt. The huge Strike Casino at the Grand Hyatt, Bambolim, Goa was launched recently with a lease of nine years, in partnership with the Grand Hyatt. With all its remarkable interiors which includes designer laminated tables and gaming machines from London and Slovenia, and the envious footfalls, (let's ignore the distance from the airport) they will surely be giving stiff competition to all the existing ones, mainly the Deltin Royale.

"We did not want to make a usual casino," says Vivek Bhatnagar, one of the four partners of the casino. "The idea was to cater to the luxury tourists who look for entertainment beyond the 'till 1 a.m' partying. Grand Hyatt is a wedding destination and is practically booked throughout the year, so it made sense for us to partner with them."

"Besides, the first marina will soon open here about just one and a half km away from the hotel which already has the Aquasail Sailing Centre. The papers have been signed and the process of building the marina by the government will soon be underway which will be beneficial for us," he adds.

The launch of the spectacular Casino was like that of Ibiza and Las Vegas put together. Top class entertainment, international cuisines, Dom Perignon in crystal flutes and a smattering of high society guests from all over India in their designer best made sure that the launch was talked about for days to come.

The four partners have made sure that food in the casino is as good as the ambience. "We have brought 'Chandni Chowk' food from Delhi here to make sure apart from international cuisines the food that we all love is part of the casino," says Bhatnagar, who has never gambled apart from the occasional Teen Patti he plays during Diwali.

"The journey has been tough from the time of conceptualizing to having it in full operation and there was a bit of resistance too, mainly because of the ancient laws of gambling, but we overcame it," he adds happily mentioning that there are already offers for new projects from new partners.
