Zerruco by Zilli set to woo capital’s Food lovers

 

It was an afternoon of celebrations, fun and chatter at the launch of the contemporary Mediterranean dining restaurant Zerruco at Hotel Ashok, New Delhi. Restaurateurs Kashif Farooq  and Prashant Ojha along with celebrity chef Aldo Zilli has successfully provided, a distinctive international  culinary experience for the gourmets of Delhi. A larger than life space with textured ceilings, sky lights, steel columns, floor to ceiling glass and unique textural paneling, Zerruco by Zilli replicates the experience of a high end deconstructed midtown warehouse feel.

“The chance has finally arrived for me to venture out of my comfort zone into the Asian market. Having tasted some of the best Indian food from great chefs in London such as Atul Kochhar, to say that I am excited about Zerruco by Zilli is an understatement as I have fed and met some fantastic people from India in my 35 years in London”, said Chef Aldo Zilli.

The creative menu features a range of unique dishes like mushroom and ricotta stuffed “Stiletto” green ravioli with asparagus and tomato mascarpone sauce. Classics like Minestrone soup with vegetables; beans and baby pasta; Risotto’s with wild mushroom and truffle; and delectable pizzas from the woodfired oven will take you to a mental tour to Italy. For desserts pick your choice of  all time favorites that include, chocolate fondant, crème brulee, tarts, homemade ice creams and Tiramisu among others.
